More Snow!

NC has been hit with the most snow it's seen in many years! We were scheduled to go on a beach trip this week, but for several reasons decided to cancel. And I'm so glad we did! We would have missed this beautiful snow. We have somewhere around 6-8 inches and it's still coming down. Here's some pics from all the fun:

After a little while outside, Harry realized it was much more enjoyable to be warm inside with me and simply watch through the window. Smart boy. :)

Eden, however, couldn't be convinced to come back inside. She absolutely loved it - the cold and wet didn't seem to bother her at all, and she would throw herself down to make snow angels, have a blast clearing off the grill and table, and just running around having fun. I'm so glad she was able to experience it!

And we ALL love the fact that Jason is home with us!

SNOW!

We don't get a lot of snow here in NC, so when we do, it's a party! We got just a little bit last night and the kids couldn't wait to get out in it. Eden especially seemed to love it. Check out pics below!

He's not too sure about this white stuff...

But she loves it!

Even the dogs like it, they get all rowdy and playful:

More snow than we've seen all season!

 Happy snow day!

Caranci Christmas, Part 4

We are so blessed - we have so much family to celebrate the holidays with that it takes 4 posts! This is the last in my series (since I didn't take my camera to the shindig with my parents, what was I thinking?), and is mostly just the four of us.

A few nights before Christmas, Jason's best friend Ken came over to watch their traditional Christmas Vacation movie. This year they had matching t-shirts and a moose-shaped mug that I'm still not clear on, but it has some relation to the movie. :) I love this shot of them:

My one request for Christmas this year was to have a fire. We haven't used our fireplace since moving in almost 3 years ago, and I've been dying to! So Jason got everything together to make it happen:

We decided to let the pups go first in opening their stockings (yes, I am one of those people), and they seemed happy with new balls, toys, and teeth-cleaning treats.

Next up, the kiddos. Sorry most of the pics are of Eden, Harry is way too hard to catch being still these days!

So finally, Merry Christmas from the Caranci's!

Caranci Christmas, Part 3 (for Grammy and Grumps)

I'm slowly getting through these Christmas recap posts! Sadly, I didn't have my camera when we exchanged with my parents so I won't have a post for them. But there will be one more of our little family at home. For now, here's how it went down at G&G's house!

Happy girl, with her tiara and cookies!

It's a tradition for us to go to G&G's on Christmas morning and there is something so cozy about it every year. So thankful that our kiddos are able to have these memories!
